The development of social-emotional skills (SEL) for both adults and students creates a positive school culture that prioritizes individual student success. While adults in the school implement practices that promote SEL with students and families, the school culture becomes an environment in which the Individual Plan of Study provides meaningful postsecondary planning for both students and families. This workshop will explore the building of SEL skills in adults that foster family and community partnerships in the development of each student’s Individual Plan of Study.
