PAPRS- even without the E, the Constitutional Freedoms of Press, Assembly, Petition, Religion, and Speech encompass each of our daily lives.  Teach students about what each of those freedoms mean, explore the Supreme Court cases that bring those freedoms to the schoolhouse, engage students with real world Constitutional connections, and foster creative advocacy through the First Amendment.

Kim Wahaus

American Government and AP Government Teacher, Olathe South High School
I am an archivist and a picker by nature, which vocationally makes me a social studies teacher. I have a true passion for helping students of all educational levels uncover more than facts, but the skills necessary to be historians, advocates, and open minded thinkers.
