Don taught for 32 years in 1A, 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A schools in Kansas. He left the classroom in 2010 for the State Department of Education. Don is the coordinator for Civic Engagement for KSDE and has supervised and facilitated History, Government, and Social Studies Standards (HGSS) review as well as two different HGSS assessments. He loves to facilitate interactive conversations in his sessions.
